The Smith & Wesson Model 629 Deluxe is a large-frame revolver chambered in .44 Magnum and .44 Special with a 6.5 inch barrel and 6-shot capacity. It is built on a stainless steel N-frame with a satin stainless finish on the frame, barrel, and cylinder. Textured wood grips and an exposed hammer give this Deluxe model a traditional look for hunting, range use, and collecting.

Single-action/double-action operation supports both a deliberate single-action shot and double-action shooting. A red ramp front sight and adjustable white outline rear sight allow windage and elevation adjustment. The 6.5 inch barrel provides a longer sight radius than the 3 inch Deluxe version.

At 11.6 inches overall and 50.7 oz, the all-steel 629 has the mass to help manage magnum recoil. Stainless construction is intended for regular .44 Magnum use. This revolver is suited to handgun hunting, sport shooting, and home defense.
