The Smith & Wesson Performance Center M&P9 M2.0 Competitor is a metal framed 9mm striker fired pistol built for competition right out of the box. It features a 5 inch barrel with lightening cuts on the top and sides of the slide to improve recoil balance, an enhanced sear for a lighter crisper trigger, and a flared magazine well for fast efficient reloads.
Key features include an optics ready slide with fiber optic front sight and blacked out serrated rear sight, four interchangeable palmswell grip inserts for optimal hand fit and trigger reach, a reversible oversized magazine release, M2.0 flat face trigger for consistent finger placement, textured polymer front strap, Picatinny style rail, and low barrel bore axis to reduce muzzle rise and speed aim recovery. The pistol ships with four 17 round magazines and offers a comfortable 18 degree grip angle for natural point of aim.

I bought this gun after owning the original metal and getting rid of it. Sometimes money comes before guns. Then I bought a TTI Cabin at the same since decided to purchase the competitor. When I shot both side to side, it was a no-brainer for me. Smith & Wesson competitor all day. I removed the competition magwell and have a Floyd's EDC magwell as well as plus two mag plates on order. This is pretty much my daily carry if I'm not caring My bodyguard 2.0 and light clothing. Also Floyd's offers a compensation job. Utilizing the Ford portion of the slide where there are three slots, they poured the barrel. Makes it a very flat shooter. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and doing business with gun prime. Me being from Alabama as well, I love supporting local even if it's State wide.
I love this gun, great trigger. Actual received the titanium model instead of the 2 tone. Looks even better.
