The Springfield Armory M1A™ Tanker delivers classic battle-rifle heritage in a compact, hard-hitting .308 Winchester package. Inspired by the WWII-era Tanker Garand prototypes, this rifle blends timeless walnut stock aesthetics with modern defensive and practical shooting features.

This USED example is configured with a 16.25" carbon steel barrel, muzzle brake, and rugged iron sights including a tritium front night sight and ghost ring rear aperture adjustable for windage and elevation. The compact length and sub-9-lb weight make the Tanker one of the most maneuverable M1A variants Springfield has produced.

A 2-stage National Match–tuned trigger provides a clean, consistent break at approximately 5 lbs, making this rifle equally at home on the range or as a serious defensive .308 platform. The rifle ships with a 10-round magazine and retains the unmistakable feel and balance that has made the M1A platform legendary.
